Since updating the logo for 2026’s Paraeducator, the current landing page also needed to be updated to reflect the new visual system. I was tasked with redesigning the landing page to be clear, accessible, and empowering for CSEA’s 29th Paraeducator Conference attendees, while working within Cvent’s limited customization options.

  • Existing layout of information made the page seem cluttered and lack hierarchy

  • Limited control over component spacing and styling

  • Cvent's lack of responsiveness led to more iterations of homepage logo formatting

Key Challenges

  • Communicate warmth and professionalism tone

  • Reflect the refreshed branding and paraeducator enthusiasm

My Approach

I quickly learned that our Paraeducator members needed fast, easy access to the registration button and clear communication about when, where, and who can attend the conference. As well as access to direct links for schedules, hotel info, classes offered, and FAQs.

For many, this is their first Paraeducator Conference, so adding a background story about PARA's origins provides context for why PARA is one of CSEA’s most popular events.
