Problem Statement

The recent update of the logo for the 2026 Paraeducator Conference required a complete redesign of the landing page to align with the new visual identity. The challenge was to utilize Cvent's limited customization options to create a landing page that is clear, accessible, and empowering for attendees of CSEA’s 29th Paraeducator Conference.

Existing layout of information made the page seem cluttered and lack hierarchy
Limited control over component spacing and styling
Cvent's lack of responsiveness led to more iterations of homepage logo formatting

My Approach

Before

I quickly learned that our Paraeducator members needed fast, easy access to the registration button and clear communication about when, where, and who can attend the conference. As well as access to direct links for schedules, hotel info, classes offered, and FAQs.

For many, this is their first Paraeducator Conference, so adding a background story about PARA's origins provides context for why PARA is one of CSEA’s most popular events.
